Introducing My 2017 Tea Towel Calendar

2017-tea-towel

I am so excited that my 2017 tea towel calendar design is finished and featured in Spoonflower’s October Design Challenge!

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Be an opener of doors,” and I thought that was such a fitting motto for this new year filled with fresh possibilities. My design features a unique, hand-painted watercolor door for each month of the year. These paintings were inspired by the charming doors I have sketched and photographed around the world.

Voting opens today, so please go to Spoonflower.com and vote for my design here. And look for these tea towels available for sale soon on Roostery.com.

Print of the Week: Woodland Tree

woodland-tree

This week’s Print of the Week, Woodland Tree, is part of my upcoming Woodland Wonder collection of art prints, patterns, and decor featuring forest animals, plants, and trees.

As I was researching ideas for a new children’s collection, I noticed that it seems like most forest/woodland artwork and patterns tend to be for boys. So I wanted to create a soft color palette that embraced nature and also said, “girls like to play outside too!”

The Woodland Tree print is made from my original acrylic painting and will brighten any space. Each piece is printed on acid-free, high quality art paper with a matte finish. This fine art print along with its companion prints, Olivia the Owl and Stuart the Squirrel can be purchased in the following sizes: 5×7, 8×10, 11×14, and 13×19.

If you would like to commission art featuring your own subject matter, please contact me and I can create a custom piece just for you.

Every piece of artwork has a story. You can have each new Print of the Week delivered right to your inbox! Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter for updates, exclusive offers, and a behind the scenes look at the inspiration for my work.

Print of the Week: Stuart the Squirrel

Stuart the Squirrel

This week’s Print of the Week is the second in a new series. Stuart the Squirrel is part of my upcoming Woodland Wonder collection of art prints, patterns, and decor featuring forest animals, plants, and trees in a more feminine theme.
