I am thrilled to share that my artwork was featured last night on the hit CBS show, 2 Broke Girls! I was truly honored when Emmy-award winning set decorator Amy Feldman contacted me and asked to license my art for the show. My pen and ink print, Newport Rhode Island, appears in Season 6, Episode 18 which aired last night on CBS.
You can purchase your own signed Newport Rhode Island print in my shop now! Each print is carefully printed on the highest quality, acid-free fine art paper, and is available as a 5×7, 8×10, 11×14, or 13×19.
Every piece of artwork has a story. You can have each new post delivered right to your inbox! Subscribe to my newsletter for updates, exclusive offers, and a behind the scenes look at the inspiration for my work.

2017 is here and the Print of the Week is back! Over the last couple of months we’ve had some interesting developments here at our house (I actually think the least interesting event has been a giant pine tree falling on our roof!) but I’m back and excited to see all the wonderful challenges and surprises the new year has in store.
This week I wanted to feature my newest print, She Believed She Could, So She Did. When I first heard this quote, I thought it was the perfect inspirational mix of optimism and grit. So I’ve decided this will be my motto for the upcoming year. Sometimes life takes us in a direction we didn’t plan, and on a timetable we wouldn’t have necessarily chosen for ourselves. So what’s a girl to do? Press on!
Happily though, there have been some amazing developments as well that I can’t wait to share. Be sure to stay tuned for some exciting news on the blog next month.
She Believed She Could, So She Did is now available for purchase in my shop as a 5×7, 8×10, 11×14, or 13×19.
Also, don’t forget it’s not too late to get your 2017 tea towel calendars. Visit Roostery.com and purchase the “Be an Opener of Doors” tea towel here.

Last week, I shared my 2017 tea towel calendar design. You’ll be able to purchase these tea towels soon on Roostery.com. But in the meantime, I also have prints available for purchase in my shop. You can choose either an 11×14 or 13×19 size. These calendars make a lovely (and practical) addition to your decor, and are a fantastic Christmas gift idea!
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Be an opener of doors,” and I thought that was such a fitting motto for this new year filled with fresh possibilities. My design features a unique, hand-painted watercolor door for each month of the year. These paintings were inspired by the charming doors I have sketched and photographed around the world.
I am so excited that my design is featured in Spoonflower’s October Design Challenge! There is still time to vote, so if you haven’t already, please go to Spoonflower.com and vote for my design here. Thanks so much!
